Product Information

Continually operating gas warning system to monitor combustible gases and vapours along open paths of up to a lenght of 140 m in industrial installations. Heated windows allow operation at low temperature, eliminating condensation, icing and snow build up. Xenon flash technology can maintain operational integrity at up to 90% signal obscuration. SafEye allows a fast response time of 3 seconds. Diagnosis/Interrogation is available via a RS 485 interface to a computer or intrinsically safe handheld unit. Can be operated as stand-alone sensor or together with MSA control systems.

Measuring principle:infrared spectroscopy.

Measuring range: 0 –5LEL·m or 0 –2 LEL·m (IR channel),

power supply:24 VDC, protection class: IP 67.
